Engineering is the art of organizing and managing people, controlling materials and power in the nature. Civil engineering, from this point of view, is one of the most basic engineering branches.
Civil Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with planning, project management, building and auditing of construction projects by gathering the knowledge of materials and techniques. Thus, the students who have the Bachelors degree from Civil Engineering are employed in many different fields of areas, such as planning, building and auditing of buildings, dams, airfields, bridges, roads, harbor and water structures, sewage systems, water transportation systems, tunnels, railways, light-rail and subway systems, etc.. in private and public companies.
Civil Engineering Education Program: General Education, Mathematics, Basic Science, Engineering Sciences and Engineering applications. To be able to graduate from Civil Engineering Department, students must take 240 ECTS theoretical and practical courses including compulsory and elective courses and they must have the grade and average of the achievement grade determined in "Kilis 7 Aralık University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education-Examination and Examination Regulations". An academic year contains two semesters of 17 weeks including registration and examination periods. The language of teaching is in Turkish.
